We are looking for a Junior IT Helpdesk Officer who will maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and network for immediate resumption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and maintain network servers and all active devices
2. Manage the network Infrastructure
3. Administer Active Directory, assign and update security permissions on the network according to security policy.
4. Monitor system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
5. Efficiently Install, configure and successfully deploy solutions across the network
6. Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of IT hardware and software
7. Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
8. Maintain Technical documentation, IT policies, documentation of IT Assets, processes and procedures.
9. Maintain and ensure prompt renewal of software licenses
10. Manage user accounts and assets
11. Prioritize and resolve User support tickets
12. Troubleshoot system issues and outages
13. Liaise with Vendors or stakeholders to ensure delivery of IT infrastructure according to defined specification, in good condition and record time.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
2. Minimum 6 months experience in role
3. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
4. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Knowledge of and experience with network infrastructure
7. Candidate must not be more than 29 years of age and must reside in Lagos; proximity to the island is a plus
